Black & White

This is my entry for Designers challenge over at MCT.This time Cassandra chose to have a Black &White

challenge. NO COLOR! Yiks this was difficult.

Here is what I came up, three seperate 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 layouts that I am going to put on boards and make a wall hanging. I think they turned out super pretty.

Jaded Blossom "May Color Challenge"!

This is her very first "Color Challenge"! It was so much fun. She posted  5 different colors to use, we could choose a few of the 5 colors or an extra challenge is use all five colors! I chose to use all 5 in this card.

Here is my Spring center piece!

Papers are a variety of DCWV papers

Pinwheels cut from 5.5 squares down to 2.5 squares

Recollection little brads

Green pipe cleans wrapped around wood scewers for stems.

Misc. of buttons for middles of the pinwheel

Dollars Store_ green  tin with  foam hot glued down with moss.

Fence is the foam wrappers from pears at the grocery store.

Over at "My Creative Time" one of her DT members  Cassandra is having a Color Challenge! Color choices are Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple. Use any three colors or be extra daring and use all 6.

I used chalks for the color, Brown ink for stamping the flowers, and the "Thank You" sentiment.

Shape card Sunday!

Very first "Shape Card Sunday" challenge
 at LiveloveandSCRAP! Here is my entry for this fun challenge! Theme was to make a Snowman shape card for this week.

I used :

Doodlecharms cartridge for the Snowman pg. 82- welding the shadow shapes together for the base and cut at 4.5" next using the  Shift button cut out the base snowman without arms and blacked out the little face and nose on my gypsy. The hat and mittens and snowflakes were cut out from the Winter Woodland cartridge pg. 48 and 49 sized to fit fit head and arms. Added some sparkling Stickles and little blue gems to the snowflakes, and little black gems for his buttons.  Scarf is a piece of scrap ribbom and frayed at the ends. The cutie patootie face is from PK stamp set Happy Lashes, isn't he simply adorable! The sentiment is from MCT(My Creative Time ) mixed Holiday Sentiments.
